Sudbury police had a tense situation on their hands Thursday night when they got a call about two distraught women on a railway bridge. Police convinced one of the women to come off the bridge but the other wouldn’t budge. It took the arrival of a police crisis negotiating team and 30 minutes of talking to urge the other woman to finally come off the bridge. There’s no word on if charges will be laid.
