Wiikwemkong Unceded Territory’s Autumn Peltier, (PEL-tyeh) Anishinabek Nations’ Chief Water Commissioner, has won another award to help her in the cause of protecting water.
Peltier is the winner of the 2021 RevolutionHer™ Community Vision Youth Award, which includes a $5,000 cash award to support her successes.
RevolutionHer™ is an online organization bringing over 30,000 women together worldwide for mentorship, personal and business development, and advocacy.
There were over 1,600 nominations from across North America with Peltier chosen as the winner.
