The Take Back The Night march will take place in Elliot Lake.
The annual event is the earliest worldwide movement to stand against sexual violence.
It began in the 1960’s in Belgium and England protesting about women not feeling safe walking the streets alone at night.
Hosted by the Counselling Centre of East Algoma, Elliot Lake’s walk will take place tomorrow evening starting from Debbie’s Pet World at 6:15pm and marching to the Miner’s Monument.
Themed ‘A Survivor’s Story’, there will be speakers, as well as drumming and a musical guest.
