No news on near drowning

There`s no word on how an eight-year-old boy is doing after nearly drowning on Manitoulin Island.  The youngster was fishing with his dad when a hook got stuck on the boy`s life jacket and the father took it off to remove the hook.  However the boat flipped over at that moment and both father and son fell into the water.  The father managed to surface but there was no sign of his son.  Some bystanders found the boy on shore and emergency personnel were called.  The youngster was airlifted to hospital for treatment after swallowing water.
