Construction continues on Highway 6 with completion still expected by the end of August. So far several major culverts have been replaced and storm sewer work should wrap up this week. The construction is considered a high priority project for the region, because Highway 6 is the only road connection to Manitoulin. The province is paying $1.3 million of the $1.7 million project with Espanola kicking in the rest.
