Llamas are the cure to covid-19.
I promise this isn’t some absurdist comedy; it’s real.
Just read this crazy article. All animals have antibodies in their blood that fight disease. Llamas have them too, but there’s are tiny, and they’re called nanobodies. How the covid virus works is it latches onto your cells and fuses the virus with it. These nanobodies prevent that binding because they’re smaller.
Imagine regular antibodies are a colander, and nanobodies are a strainer. The covid virus is small enough to sneak past the larger colander/antibodies but too big to fit through the smaller holes of the strainer/nanobodies.
I’m no scientist, but that’s the best way I can explain it.
It only makes sense that a virus started by bats can only be defeated by llamas.
