The Black Creek Fishing Pier will be the scene of a special gathering on Labour Day.
Espanola Game and Fish Club volunteer Dennis Lendrum has been busy over the last year making improvements to the popular fishing spot including picnic tables and a trail highlighting natural attractions.
He says this summer the focus has been on making the trail accessible to all including those who use walkers or wheelchairs.
The work is ongoing, but he adds they want to highlight the amenities that now exist, so everyone is invited out at 1:00 pm on Monday, September 7th to take in the improvements.
