OPP are investigating a fatal collision on Highway 144

Sudbury area OPP continues to investigate a fatal collision on Highway 144.
OPP Constable Robin Lewis says yesterday morning shortly after ten am, officers investigated a fatal single motor vehicle collision on Highway 144, north of Windy Lake Motel and south of Cartier.
He says the highway was closed in both directions until the investigation was completed and motorists were advised to use a detour.
Lewis says the driver of the motor vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene and their name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
He adds the investigation continues.
