Three years later, the construction at the new Pearson Plaza in Elliot Lake has finally started. There have been several delays over the last few years, but construction crews are now working double time to get it finished.
The goal is to have the plaza done by late fall, and to bring several new stores for local shoppers. Food Land is still the anchor store, after staying committed despite the delays.
