Elliot Lake is having a fun run this weekend in honour of the city’s early pioneers. The Joe Sarich Memorial Run is part of the 60th anniversary celebrations. Sarich came to Elliot Lake in the late 50’s, and opened a sports store, which is still open today.

He also helped to bring the first golf course and ski hill, and is a former President of the Chamber of Commerce. The fun run is open to everyone.
