Massey library features Jewish history

The Massey Public Library has a unique display focusing on the history of Jewish communities in Northern Ontario.
The library has put together the Sadowski Display: Jewish Communities in Northern Ontario.
They also have a donated, signed copy of A Coat of Many Colours by Irving Abella along with newspaper clippings and photographs detailing the life of the Sadowskis.
Henry and Rose Sadowski grew up in Massey in the late 1800s and were prominent members of the community; not only running a general store and synagogue, but also participating in local government.
The public is invited to drop by and view the display following COVID-19 protocols.
The Massey Library is open Monday to Friday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturdays, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Drop by the Massey Area Museum if you are in the area for more on not only the Sadowskis, but the history of the surrounding area.
