2021_07_29 Wait… what? August starts this weekend?

Where has the summer gone? You were just starting to cross things off your bucket list, and then BAM! The August long weekend is starting.
It would be nice to enjoy the long weekend with beach weather, but unfortunately, we live in Northern Ontario. I remember when I moved up here, locals told me to be prepared for a short summer. I hate to say it… but I can already feel the winter winds.
Don’t let the weather stop you. What are your plans for the August long weekend?
I keep calling it the ‘August long weekend’ because to be honest, I have no idea what the real name is. It’s the one long weekend every year that everyone seems to forget the name of.
