Researchers in Japan found a way to turn compost into concrete! They’ve made orange peel concrete. Cabbage concrete. Seaweed concrete.
You might be saying to yourself, “Graeme, it’s just compost… relax”, but you should get excited too! This could solve so many of the biggest problems in the world. Food waste? Turn it into concrete. Housing crisis? Not anymore with all the compost houses we’ll build.
This isn’t happening yet, but the studies are looking really fruitful.
