Nearly a year after it happened, an Elliot Lake man is charged with assault with a weapon after a woman was hit with a bottle. The charge against the 23-year-old was laid by North Bay police. The accused was at a party in North Bay where he got into an argument with a woman. He also hit two men with the bottle when they intervened.
