Students celebrate Francophone presence

Wednesday was a big occasion in Espanola.  About 700 elementary and high school Francophone students from along the North Shore gathered in town to celebrate Franco-Espo.  The students marched to the Red McCarthy ball field where they took part in games and had a barbeque.  Franco-Espo recognizes the region’s Francophone presence.  Students from Elliot Lake, Spanish, Blind River, Espanola and Lively took part.
