Elementary schools have track and field day

Three North Shore area students under the Huron Superior Catholic District School Board were winners at the board’s annual track and field day.  Taking the 200 metres in bantam boys was Lukas Gauthier of Sacred Heart in Espanola.  Winner of the bantam boys softball throw was Angleo Carchidi in Elliot Lake who is a Lourdes student.  In bantam girls, the softball throw gold medal goes to Alexis Deschense of St. Mary’s in Blind River.  The overall school champion was St. Mary’s French Immersion School in Sault Ste. Marie.
