The Manitoulin OPP is investigating a drowning.
OPP Constable Bev Gauthier says police were called in on Saturday morning to a boat that had capsized on Lake Huron near Spring Bay on Manitoulin Island.
She says the investigation revealed the day before a couple had left in a canoe, which later capsized near Dominion Bay.
One of the canoeists was located awake but hypothermic she says on Saturday morning.
The other canoeist was found later in the day, still wearing their lifejacket, but deceased.
Gauthier says he has been identified as 68-year-old Anthony Howard Jocko from Hanmer.
The investigation continues.
