Input sought on long-term care and the pandemic survey

Lakehead University is reaching out across Ontario to caregivers for their experiences taking care of loved ones during the pandemic.

Dr. Kathy Kortes-Miller says they want to increase knowledge about the expectations that people have of long-term care, the health system, and social support networks and ways of maintaining connection caregiving Ontarians are using during physical distancing.

Dr. Kortes-Miller adds the research team will develop recommendations on caregiving, isolation, grief, and loss during this time period that will directly address identified knowledge, system, and policy gaps.

She adds the online survey will take about half-an-hour to complete and is available online.
