The City of Elliot Lake is closing one of its dog parks while some work is carried out by Public Works.
According to the city, the Dog Park on Pearson Drive will be closed for four to six weeks starting Monday.
City dog owners are invited to use the Glendon Dog Park on Washington Crescent for that time being.
Public Works says the closure is due to the grinding of asphalt located at the rear of the park.
A notice has also been sent out to residents that heavy machinery will be in the area as well as transporting material and equipment to and from the site, so extra noise and traffic will be experienced.
