Ehrhardt expected to qualify for Pan-AM Games

It looks like Caroline Ehrhardt of Espanola will represent Canada at next month’s Pan-Am Games in track and field.  Ehrhardt took part in a qualifier in Windsor yesterday in the triple jump and hit 13.08 metres, which was tops at the event.  The jump is also her personal best so far this year at an outdoor event.  Athletics Canada is reviewing all the jumps but Ehrhardt’s dad Klaus, is pretty sure she’s made the national team.  We’ll get the official word later this week.  Ehrhardt is Canada’s triple jump champion, a title she’s held for four straight years.
