The City of Elliot Lake has approved its pricing list for memorial beautification items.
In early May, council approved the City of Elliot Lake Memorial Bench and Tree Program and has now set up pricing.
The city is providing residents the opportunity to buy either an existing or new tree or bench in memory of a loved one or a special event.
The prices range from $785 for a tree to $3,600 for a bench.
Anyone can purchase either item at any time of the year, but installations will take place in the appropriate season.
Bench purchase applications received annually between September and April will be installed in June, as weather permits. Bench and tree adoption applications received between October and April will be installed in May, as weather permits.
For tree purchases plantings are completed in the spring and in the fall annually. Requests for spring plantings must be received by March 1 and for fall plantings by August 1.
