A 33-year-old Mattawa man is charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death after he crashed into a building in Mattawa. The accused failed to round a sharp curve and hit a building seriously injuring 26-year-old Delina Minor. The young Mattawa woman died later in hospital. The driver is also charged with causing death by criminal negligence, impaired operation of a motor vehicle and failing to provide a blood sample. The driver and another passenger were treated for minor injuries. OPP believe speed and booze were factors in the fatal collision.
