This woman just quit her job like a boss. She baked a cookie for her boss and iced it with the words, “Sorry for your loss. It’s me. I quit.”
That’s the way you and I wish we could quit.
Whenever someone has a bad job they always daydream about this sort of thing. “I’m going to quit in some grand gesture that’s going to make them realize what a loss I am.’ And then you end up just handing in your two weeks and being done with it.
Anyone else quit a job with humour like this woman?
We talked about this on the show today and I got an email from Rob. He worked at a deli in high school and spent his last day in the cold fridge mowing down pepperettes and parmesan cheese.
Can’t really blame him, to be honest… last days at work should count as paid vacation because they’re ALWAYS a write-off.
