Elliot Lake is in the middle of a heat warning, which makes me ask the question: who has a camp I can borrow?
The heat screams ‘cottage weather’ but it’s a problem when you don’t own one. I guess you just have to be good at making friends. Befriend someone who owns a camp and NEVER LET THEM GO!
If you are suffering from the heat and live in Elliot Lake, the city has a cooling centre set up at Centennial Arena. It runs today and tomorrow from 11am to 4pm for free. AND because of the pandemic transit is free to get you there.
