Work continues to renovate Espanola High School so it can accommodate elementary students from A. B Ellis. The high school is being re-designed to house students from both schools. The high school students will move into their half of the re-designed school in the fall. They’ll have access to four science labs, a welding shop, six new classrooms and an upgraded library. The Ellis students won’t transfer over until the following school year because work on their half doesn’t begin until this summer. Part of the summer work includes creating a play area for the Ellis students. When fully renovated, the high school students will be in one part of the building and the kindergarten to Grade 8 students will be in another part.
