RFP issued by Laurentian University for consulting services focusing on assets

Laurentian University is reviewing requests for proposals to hire a consultant for the institutions’ real estate holdings.
According to the Laurentian website, the documents calls for a consultant who would review those holdings with the key focus of monetizing the assets held by the university.
The document also includes various scenarios for dealing with those assets including selling some of them including the residences, reviewing third-party leases and comparing those to market lease rates and applying a monetary value to excess assets such as land and buildings.
Consultant firms had until Monday to put in a bid for the work and those bids are now under review by the institution to decide the next step.
