The Law Enforcement Torch Run arrives in the broadcast area Thursday morning and afternoon. Police officers along with Special Olympians will be taking turns running the torch into various communities. First up is Mindemoya at about 9:00 a.m. and then the torch arrives at the Espanola Town Hall at 11:00 a.m.  The next leg of the journey is Elliot Lake where it arrives at about 1:30 p.m.  The run begins on Highway 108 by Esten Drive South and the torch makes its way to the OPP detachment. Motorists are reminded to be careful when driving around this morning because there will be many runners and vehicles connected with the torch.
