Espanola Hydro and Hydro One have two planned power outages in the local area.
Hydro One spokesperson Alicia Sayers says the utility is advising residents in Espanola and surrounding areas of two planned power outages this Sunday required for crews to safely perform scheduled maintenance and complete upgrades in the area.
She says for the safety of the crews, equipment must be de-energized to complete the work.
Sayers says the first planned power outage will take place from 7:30 am to 1:30 pm and affect some 560 Hydro One and Espanola Regional Hydro customers in Espanola.
She adds the second outage will take place from 8 am and 12 pm and affects nearly 1,200 Hydro One customers in Whitefish Falls, Whitefish River First Nation, McGregor Bay and east to Killarney.
