The Society of Animals in Distress in Elliot Lake partnered with Moose FM in Elliot Lake to help out four-legged friends.
Known as SAD, the organization hosts a yearly radiothon with 94.1 and 98.7 Moose FM every year.
According to SAD business manager, Donna Rochon, this year’s virtual call-in raised around $4,100 and included curb-side donations.
Rochon says donations are still being accepted by giving a call or email.
SAD will still be accepting donations until 3 pm today..
