After reading the title you can probably tell that I’m a massive Habs fan.
The Toronto Maple Leafs start their march to win the Stanley Cup tonight against the Montreal Canadiens. I was going to write about something else but honestly, all of my energy is focused on this series.
The first playoff series in over forty years. Two Original Six teams meeting. This is historic.
The excitement may have gotten to my head. I’m no gambling man but I made a wager with a friend who supports the Habs. If the Leafs win the series, he shaves the Leafs logo into the side of his head. If the Habs win, I have to get the Canadiens logo tattooed on my body.
Please pray for a Leafs series win… or else I’ll get an earful from my mum.
