A COVID-19 vaccine will soon be arriving at an Espanola pharmacy.
Jocelyne Bousquet of Remedy RX says they do not know what type of vaccine they will be supplied with except it will be an mRNA type.
She says at this time, anyone may register to join the waitlist, which is only available online and not by phone.
Bousquet adds when the vaccine arrives, those on the list will be contacted by email as to the time and date of their appointment.
The pharmacy is only booking for the first dose right now and it is open to anyone in the North Shore corridor area although there is no guarantee as vaccination is subject to the availability of the doses.

Public Health Sudbury & Districts is reporting a new workplace outbreak at the IAMGOLD Cote (COAT-tay) Lake Project north of Greater Sudbury.
The agency is reporting 19 new cases over the last three days, some related to the outbreak.
Of the 19, 15 are in the Greater Sudbury area and four in the Sudbury District.
Considering resolved cases there are currently 60 active cases in the agency’s jurisdiction.
Health Sciences North has eight admitted patients, seven who have tested positive for the virus, and one waiting test results.
There is one individual in intensive care.
And Algoma Public Health is reporting three new cases, two in Sault Ste. Marie, one in Elliot Lake.
Considering resolved cases there are 30 active cases in the district with one individual in hospital.
Summer camps are possible
Premier Doug Ford is making a bold prediction……summer camps will be open this year.
Speaking at a Toronto-area vaccination clinic, Ford says that, because the number of people getting their COVID-19 vaccinations is increasing rapidly, the camps will be able to proceed with their traditional opening on July 3rd.
The premier’s office says they’re working with health officials to develop a safe reopening plan.
The Ontario Camps Association says they’re delighted with the decision.
As COVID-19 infection levels continue to decline, more than seven-million vaccine doses have now been administered across the province.
Every adult in Ontario will be eligible to register for their first inoculation by the end of May, and a program to vaccinate children between the ages of 12 and 17 will be launched May 31st.
Why head of vaccine distribution dismissed
The Trudeau government is under increasing pressure to explain the sudden dismissal of the head of Canada’s vaccine distribution program.
Major-General Deny Fortin stepped aside from the position because of what the Defence department calls a “military investigation.”
Conservative defence critic James Bezan says the government must be more transparent, and release details of why Fortin was pulled out.
The current chief of the defence staff, Admiral Art McDonald, and his predecessor, General Jonathan Vance, are currently under investigation after several women alleged sexual harrassment.
Big day in Britain
It’s a red-letter day in England today.
Bars and restaurants are being allowed to reopen, sporting events can resume and people can hug their loved ones again.
But Prime Minister Boris Johnson warns there should be a “heavy dose of caution” used when gathering in groups.
Overall COVID-19 numbers have been declining rapidly.
But there’s been an alarming increase recently in the number of diagnoses of the more-contagious variant first uncovered in India.
Health Secretary Matt Hancock is warning it could “spread like wildfire” among those who have not yet been vaccinated.
Health officials say 38 per cent of adults across the United Kingdom have now received both vaccine doses.
