The Elliot Lake Wildcats are living up to their commitment to pay back city council a $100,000 loan. Monday night at council, club president Howard Hennessey gave council a $20,000 cheque. June 9th was exactly one year ago that council approved loaning the new club money to help launch it in the NOJHL. Yesterday’s cheque is the first of several planned over the next several years.
