An Espanola woman’s impulse decision to buy a lottery ticket while grocery shopping has paid off in a very big way. Zita Hughes has won one million dollars after picking a LOTTO MAX ticket. Hughes first thought she won $1,000, but an employee at the store where she had her ticket checked told her she won $1 million. Hughes has picked up her winnings in Toronto and plans on sharing some of the money with family before saving the rest.
