Birthday Bank Espanola- helps children in need

An Espanola woman has created a unique organization to help children celebrate their birthdays.

Shelby Trowbridge says the Birthday Bank Espanola is an organization that plans on giving birthday parties to kids in need.

She says donations of new or gently used gifts, party supplies and money to enable these families to celebrate a birthday are appreciated.

Trowbridge says she will handle all the details, so donors and parents can contact her directly.

People can contact Trowbridge at [email protected] or call (249) 999-0000, She can take calls most evenings after 4 pm, or people can text her as well. For ages three to 17.
Concerning donations, here is a more detailed list of items:

Monetary donations for cakes and gifts

Birthday cards with envelopes for all ages

Decorations such as balloons, tape, streamers, etc.

Plastic cutlery and dishes in various colours ex, from Dollarama to accommodate a child’s favourite colour

Candles for the cake

For gifts, keep in mind that new, unopened (you know the gifts your child wants) and gently used gifts that look like new are the goals:
