The Tory that asked the OPP to investigate an alleged bribe in Sudbury says Ontarians are expecting a response from the police. Steve Clark asked the OPP to look into if the Premier was among those to offer a Liberal candidate a bribe not to run in a Sudbury by-election last year. Everyone who spoke the former Liberal candidate Andrew Olivier insist he was not bribed. The OPP have interviewed everyone who talked to Olivier but will only say the investigation is continuing. Clark says the public has the right to learn the OPP’s findings in a timely fashion.
