Elliot Lake Public Works is on the scene of a watermain break in the city.
Public Works Direct Darryl Halloch says the break was discovered earlier today in the Perini (PURR-ree-nee) Road, Kilborn Way and Oakland Boulevard area.
He says the plan is to start the repair tonight at 9 pm.
Halloch says isolating the watermain will cause possible pressure and dirty water issues throughout the new sub and Pearson Drive areas.
Residents who experience any dirty water are asked to run your cold water taps until it clears and anyone experiencing pressure issues are asked to be patient as pressures should return to normal after the repair is complete.
