North Shore residents have created a lot of happy campers as a result of Tim Hortons Camp Day. The Tim Hortons in McKerrow and Espanola easily blew away its Camp Day numbers from last year by bringing in $10,000 this year. That surpassed last year’s total by $1,300. Meanwhile the Tims in Elliot Lake and Blind River brought in a combined total of nearly $13,000. The Tim Hortons Foundation uses the money from Camp Day to send about 18,000 young kids across the province to camp in Parry Sound.
