Health professionals and academics will be talking about medicine when they congregate later this week in Timmins. They’re part of the Northern Ontario School of Medicine’s annual research conference which takes place in Timmins this Friday and Saturday. Topics up for discussion include how small hospitals can carry out research and re-building health services. Another topic is whether getting a northern education in medicine produces northern doctors. This is the 10th year for the annual conference.
