It continues to be an easy forest fire season so far for firefighters in the northeast. They don’t have any forest fires to put out. Also the fire hazard in most of the northeast is low to moderate. It jumps to high in the far north. And because fires aren’t a problem in the region, about 200 Ontario firefighters have been sent to Alberta and Yukon to fight forest fires there.
