The Conseil scolaire catholique Nouvelon has appointed Michelle Cotnoir the Director of Wellness and Inclusion.
Education director Paul Henry says Cotnoir brings plenty of experience to the position starting next Monday.
Cotnoir began her career at the board in 2013 overseeing the implementation of the overall mental health and addictions strategy and coordinated mental health initiatives designed to build staff capacity.
A part-time professor in the Social Work Program at Collège Boréal, she also worked as a social worker in various agencies in Northern Ontario and Northwest Territories before joining the board.
