Highway 17 Road Block

The Espanola OPP has sent out a notice for potential traffic delays on Saturday.

The intersection of Highway 17 and Highway 16, in McKerrow, will have protesters that could affect traffic flow. It’s happening between the hours of 12 PM and 2 PM.

The OPP says their goal is to make sure everything runs peacefully and safely, and to keep a safe flow of traffic.

The protest is focusing on First Nations issues, including the inquiry into murdered and missing Aboriginal women.
