Nature Day on Manitoulin Island

The public are invited to get up close with nature this weekend on Manitoulin Island. The Manitoulin Nature Club is hosting a Bio Blitz being held at Misery Bay Saturday May 30th. The public is invited to sign in at the Misery Bay Provincial Park Visitor Centre at 10am, or at 1pm. Participants are asked to dress for the weather and bring a lunch and water bottle.

Other useful items would be field guides, binoculars and a camera. The wrap up will include tallies and a BBQ. In attendance will be experts on reptiles, amphibians, insects, wildflowers and birds. Enjoy a family day outside sponsored by the Manitoulin Nature Club.
