The NDP is slamming Greg Rickford over the Nutrition North program. Almost 50 communities in the North aren’t included in the program, which is meant to give access to affordable and nutritious food.
MP for Algoma-Manitoulin-Kapuskasing, Carol Hughes, says 19 of those communities are in the Minister’s riding. The advocate for Nutrition North says not having accessible nutritious food is unacceptable, and for a Minister not to act on behalf of so many of his constituents is shameful.
