Pan-Am Torch coming to Espanola

The Pan-Am torch relay will be in Espanola next week. Carrying the torch is coach and teacher David Gallant. One of his former students will be at the Pan-Am games this summer. Gallant was nominated by the community.

Mayor Ron Piche says his commitment to youth and team development has been spread across soccer, minor hockey, track, and cross country. The torch is coming through on June 2nd, sometime between 4 and 5 PM. It will make it’s way through the city, and will end at the recreation complex.
