The 2021 Women Are Sacred Conference hosted by the National Indigenous Women’s Resource Centre will be held virtually in June.
The theme of this year’s conference is “Carrying Our Medicine and Strengthening Our Vision to End the Violence” and will be held online over three days in June.
The conference is one of the largest gatherings dedicated to ending violence against Indian women and children.
It will provide virtual training opportunities, presentations, and keynote addresses by established and emerging Indigenous leaders and experts on various topics focused on supporting tribal nations, tribal domestic violence programs, and tribal community-based programs.
