Sudbury to adopt Patch 4 Patch program

As Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli’s Fentanyl patch Bill makes its way through the Legislature, another community is enforcing the Bill before it becomes law.

Sudbury is the latest city to force Fentanyl patients to return their used patches to a drug store before being given a new one.

The Patch 4 Patch program launches next Monday.

Other northern communities using the program are Espanola, Manitoulin, Sault Ste. Marie and North Bay where the program started.

Fedeli’s Bill is designed to stop the sale of used patches on the black market which in North Bay have killed 15 people
