Students master the science of catapult building

As part of their science class, grade 8 students in Mr. Bonin’s class at École St-Paul in Lively built their own catapults as well as a trebuchet, which is a type of catapult that uses a long arm to throw a projectile.

Students, under the guidance of M. Bonin, were able to go outside in the schoolyard to test their facilities.

The winning catapult hurled an object over a distance of 64 meters (210 feet) away. Impressive!
