Students present play virtually to CSC Nouvelon virtual school students across the Sudbury and Algoma districts

In late January, nine grade 7 students at the Conseil scolaire catholique Nouvelon’s Académie virtuelle presented Wade Bradford’s play “The Santa Interviews” as part of their English and Drama classes.

In line with many activities taking place online, the students’ performance was broadcast via Microsoft Teams.

Their presentation of “The Santa Interviews” was viewed in real-time by some 550 CSC Nouvelon students from various communities including Sudbury, Espanola, Wawa, Chapleau, Hornepayne, St-Charles, Noëlville, Garson, Coniston, Elliot Lake and Blind River. It was a much-appreciated virtual of a kind experience.

The Académie virtuelle offers education in a virtual format to CSC Nouvelon students from Kindergarten to Grade 8. Students are distributed throughout the school board’s territory in the districts of Sudbury and Algoma.
