Cabbie stiffed for fare – teen charged

A 19-year-old teen from Mindemoya is charged with fraud after a cab driver was stiffed on a $200 fare.  The cabbie drove the woman from Providence Bay to Espanola where the accused told him her boyfriend would pay.  She went to get the boyfriend but never came back.  The taxi driver called police who got a description of the woman, tracked her down and laid the fraud charge.
