An alert homeowner in Sudbury has helped police solve several break-ins in the city. The homeowner saw a man breaking into a garage, got his wife to call 911 and then held him down with help from an off-duty cop. When police arrived they found the accused with property from five other break-ins in Sudbury. After more probing they charged the 30-year-old with 17 counts of break and enter. He’s also charged with possessing more than $2,000 in narcotics.
